St. Jerome's

A quiet and family-friendly community, a wonderful mix of longtime residents and newly established households.

Welcome to St. Jerome's

El Cerrito's most popular neighborhood, St. Jerome's is a quiet and family-friendly community, a wonderful mix of longtime residents and newly established households.

The homes residing within this small four-block radius bordering Albany tend to be a bit more expensive than other El Cerrito properties. Built in the 1930s and '40s, St. Jerome's real estate tends to be made up of charming but modest 2- and 3-bedroom homes. Many of them are spacious, well-built, split-level bungalows that have been remodeled to show off their beautiful detailing, finely constructed built-ins and polished wood floors. The residents of St. Jerome's take great pride in their gardens, and most homes have well-groomed front and back yards.

St. Jerome's can't be beat for convenience. It's only blocks away from Memorial Park in Albany and Solano Avenue. Even closer is the Colusa Circle, where a farmer's market, family-friendly pub and market can be found. The renovated El Cerrito Plaza, is nearby, as well as the El Cerrito BART station.
