Real Estate:
- Off-Market: Only at Red Oak could I mention a home for sale on a Tuesday, ratify on Saturday, and close escrow a few weeks later. My sellers saved all the hassle and cost of home prep and sold for $1.325M. Thanks to M&S for the trust and Negar Souza for being amazing.
Home Improvement:
- Refrigerators: My fridge stopped working last week. I ordered a new one last week from Airport Appliance. My experience was ROUGH! I will never recoup the timeI spent dealing with #FridgeGate2023. Finally, I found a human named Arun who understands the word "customer." I'm waiting on a 10% off coupon from him to offer to my newsletter readers. Respond to this email if you're interested.
- Ridwell: I subscribed to Ridwell. It's good for the environment, but I need someone to read the directions.
- Lawn: My gardener, Suzy, suggested I replace the sprinkler heads' filters and occasionally mow the lawn to keep it alive.
- Solar: I had my panels installed last month. Unfortunately, the last mile has been rocky. But Leila Seppa opened a can of whoop ass on the team, and now they are making it work.
Life Musings:
- Chat GPT. I want to use it, free up time, and move to the Bahamas. But it's not funny or ironic, and I am.
- Orchids: Orchids stress me out. They're nuanced, delicate, and hard to keep alive. Mine are dying.
